Spanish & Latin American Conversation Groups
Not a class. Not a lesson. Just great conversation in a language you love.
If you already speak Spanish — whether you learned it years ago, use it on holiday, or grew up with it and don't want to lose it — the hardest part isn't grammar anymore. It's finding people to actually talk to. That's what these groups are for.
I'm Veronica MacLarnon, a native Spanish speaker from Guatemala, and these small conversation groups happen face-to-face at my studio in Prestwood. Just four people around the table, talking — about whatever comes up, in Spanish.
Why just four
Bigger groups mean less airtime for everyone and conversations that stay safely shallow. Four people means everyone talks, everyone's heard, and the conversation can actually go somewhere — real topics, real opinions, real fluency practice, not a worksheet dressed up as a chat.
Who these groups are for
This isn't for beginners working through the basics — it's for people who already have a solid grip on Spanish and want to keep it alive. Whether your Spanish came from Spain, Latino America, or a mix of both, the group is built around real conversation, not correcting your grammar every other sentence.
Face-to-face at my Prestwood studio
These groups are held in person only, at my studio in Prestwood — there's no online option for this one, because conversation like this needs a room, not a screen. Students join from across Great Missenden, Prestwood, Amersham, Chesham, Beaconsfield, Tring and the wider Chilterns to be part of it.
